This year... I love you!

Hello December. I know we haven't gotten along in the past but this year I will put my petty stress and everyday life drama aside. I have big plans for us this year. BIG plans. And so does my husband. Which was odd and totally without my influence. Be jolly and bright!
Today... I met my husband nine years ago today. At 5:15pm today to be exact. It was a blind date set up by my old next-door-neighbor Pat. I only agreed because I trusted her. She's so cute. And I figured a blind date would be a good story for the girls at work. Because I was bored. Her friends had a thirty-something year old single son. Three weeks later he left a tooth brush at my house. After a year and a half of nasty fighting we finally gave in and accepted that we obviously wanted to be with each other. Then we built a house. Got married. Had a baby. Started a blog. Bliss ;o)

So December... We have a decent social agenda. Not too much like in the past but enough to be the typical holiday nuttiness. Working on quite a few handmade Christmas gifts. I get to start my "December Daily" album of our entire day-to-day events. This weekend we're doing a family photo shoot. Next week we're going to see Santa Claus. Which... will be a total nightmare and will bet $100 I don't get a Brayden and Santa picture this year. I have to try.

Here's my 2.5" tall ga-nomes for the ornament swap. I will mail them before the week is through. I can't wait to get my ornaments from other people! :o)

My son got a shot today. He screamed... and then it was over. Until later when it was bathtime and he saw the bandaid and started crying again. It was so cute (and extremely funny). Poor guy.

December... this year, I love you.

Oh, and look at this awesome idea for Thanksgiving cupcakes from my recent inspiration obsession... Elsie Flannigan! I will have to do that next year. How cute.
