Hello Two Thousand Ten!

Hello and welcome to a new year! I totally fell off the blogging wagon in December. Things got a little nutty. Well, I won't lie... they got a lot nutty. But here it is, January. 2010. Very cool.

The holidays were much less chaotic this year. Brayden was less work and less crabby. Next year should be a blast with him (he'll be three). I hope you enjoyed your holidays and rang in the new year with health and happiness!

My crafts have been suffering too with the holiday schedule and I didn't get to finish two Christmas gifts in time. So, that's whats on my plate now. That and a house overhaul. The second I woke up on New Years Day I started cleaning and organizing and haven't stopped. And looking at the new "to do" list, probably won't stop, oh... until about May! :o)

I know I always say I will write more soon and share projects and stuff, and never seem to get that point... so here. Today's project was editing some photos to be framed 12x12 for above our bed. This orangey tone matchs the new duvet cover Santa brought me :o)

These are all photos from our trips in the last three years. I almost bought new art and went "why?" so this project totally makes me excited. They don't look like much here but against a blue wall with my new orangey, blue & green theme, it will look very cool. Can't wait to get them framed and up on the wall. And just for the record, the huge picture that used to hang there broke. Thanks to Brayden. My wild two year old.

My hobbies will all be picking up a little bit during these winter months. We'll be home more and there is no presure or time contrants. Which makes crafting so much more enjoyable. I'll be back in a few days to share some ideas and goals for the new year ahead... note I said "goals", not resolutions. I suck at resolutions and gave those up a decade ago. So happy new year to you. I hope you feel as satisfied and excited about the future as I do!
